RISEK (Omeprazole) is a type of medicine called a proton pump inhibitor (PPI).
Proton pumps are tiny substances in the lining of the stomach that help it make acid to digest food.
Omeprazole prevents proton pumps working properly. This reduces the amount of acid the stomach makes.
COMOSITION:
Each enteric-coated pellets of omerazole equivalent to
OMEPRAZOLE …..20MG
OMEPRAZOLE …..40MG
USES:
- Oesophageal reflux disease
- reflux oesophagitis
- long term Management of acid -reflux disease
- duodenal and beningn gastric ulcers including those complicating NSAID therapy
- duodenal ulcers associated with H.PYLORI
DOSAGE:
as directed by your physcian or pharmacist
take 30 minutes before meal or best if taken 30 minutes before breakfast
SIDE EFFECTS:
- headache
- GI upset
- skin rashes
- dizzines
- somnolence
- insomia
- myalgia
- increase liver enzymes,
- thrombocytopenia
